Dear Janet
Your training of Zak to stop chasing sheep has worked like a dream !
The old Zak that used to chase after sheep, rabbits ... ( anything ) is no more. The fact that he is a changed dog without you needing to use an electric collar was the icing on the cake.
Since our visit we have walked on the hills, through fields and through the village and I can now report, I have a new dog.
And yes it was worth the long journey!

I have no hesitation in recommending Janet Ardley to others wanting their dog fully and properly trained by someone who really knows her stuff.
Janet was the third trainer we'd tried and this time we could see Bonnie really improving. Janet's honest and friendly approach coupled with her great knowledge has given us the fully trained and responsive dog we'd been wanting.

I'd like to thank you for the astonishing changes you have brought about in Freddie.
He is so relaxed and contented and knowing his place is very definitely suiting him; his crying and anxiety has disappeared and he seems keen to do as he's told.
I'm sticking to my part of the agreement too in not talking to him (except when playing and in training) and I'm finding this to be more relaxing for myself.
You have literally changed our lives for the better.

My Collie Norman had become so destructive and naughty in the house that I'd come to the end of my tether and was looking at getting rid of him.
Thankfully a work colleague mentioned Janet. She came out, saw the problems and dealt with them. In truth she also trained me a little. She's a lovely person who'd I'd recommend to anyone

Running my own business means I have to travel quite a lot, buying books, assessing & valuing private collections and libraries. 
I always leave my dogs "Flee" and "Midge" with Janet when I am away, as I know full well that it will be "home from home" for them, with more walks and fun than I could possibly manage.
It's more like giving them a special treat!

We have known Janet since September 2006 when we had our Border terrier puppy dog trained by her.
"Spike" was then 16 weeks old and as a lively dog she quickly became keen to learn and is now an intelligent animal that benefitted greatly by being fully and expertly trained by Janet.
The training methods include both owners and dog and we all worked positively creating a trustworthy pet that never interferes with sheep or other farm animals and always comes to us on demand.
We have total and complete trust in Janet and our dog is now a regular boarder who enjoys being with Janet so much she positively sulks when we come to collect her.
Owners of dogs can rest assured in both the training and boarding regimes provided by Janet and be confident in her abilities to manage the animal and provide a caring and happy atmosphere.

Thanks to Janet, I am now able to take both my dogs out at the same time without the drama and the pulling!
I'd slowly let my Corgis Megan & Gilly, get the better of me, but finding Janet has certainly changed things for me. Now I enjoy being with them again and in charge - one of the objectives I mentioned when I first met Janet.

I do wish to thank her for quickly helping me to transform my dogs. Her logical & obvious (!!) suggestions were easily put into practice & I now feel they respond to me as the pack leader. That makes all of us happier.

Once again I would like to thank you for all you have done with Dexter. Seeing Dexter with you was wonderful and most of all it was amazing to see how relaxed and calm he was.
I really DO know just how much hard, hard work you have done and I am so very, very grateful. You have given us a new chance with Dexter and we aren't about to go backwards!
Gill and I have been looking at each other across the lounge where he is lying in his other bed - not trying to get on furniture or shoving his face in ours - and it's WONDERFUL!!!
It is just so lovely to have a relaxed, calm and contented dog lying on the floor with us. My dream is beginning to come true - and believe me, this dream has kept me alive on more than one occasion. Like you Janet, I am a survivor who won't be beaten by ANYTHING!!! including a Great Dane!!!!! Thank you once again for everything!
